LOGLINE; Trapped in a dangerous situation with no good solutions Civil War soldiers North and South find their common humanity.
SYNOPSIS’ JAMES MAYFIELD, Confederate, assigned to picket duty during the Siege of Petersburg realizes that his partner is starving, his horse has been requisitioned, his parents and wife are suffering in South Carolina, and the war will be lost. His wife dies. His only consolation comes from Union soldier Jimmy Reilly. Union soldier Neal Anderson, unaware of that affiliation, almost shoots James. As James partner William Bertie deteriorates, the four soldiers and run away slave John Valentine all attempt to save the dying William.
