The Los Angeles Film School student short film, based on 2010 The Year We Make Contact. Novel written by Arthur C. Clarke. Screenplay written and directed by Peter Hyams.
After twelve years of peaceful coexistence, a deep space salvage freighter attempts an emergency landing on Europa in violation of interstellar agreements, putting humanity and the otherworldly beings on a destructive course that could lead to the total annihilation of the Earth.
